Giving you a better dementia care journey

If you’re reading this, you’re looking for support, guidance, tips, or information on dementia care or Alzheimer’s care. You likely have someone in your life who is experiencing or has been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

This caring for this person makes you a dementia caregiver and what you are doing is providing dementia care. You are wise to be looking for vetted, experienced support from someone who has lived the dementia journey you are on.

Through this site and through periodic emails, I offer you, the dementia caregiver, answers to their caregiving questions and a customized plan based on the phases of their caregiving journey so you can prepare emotionally, physically, financially, and mentally for the changes ahead.

If you decide you want to talk through some of the challenges, I walk this journey with you through private, one-to-one conversations, text messages, and emails so you have the support you deserve.

This website augments my caregiver guidebook, It’s Not That Simple: Helping Families Navigate the Alzheimer’s Journey, a resource full of tips, tools and experiences to help with the myriad decisions those supporting loved ones with dementia and Alzheimer’s encounter.
